Ken Hutchinson - E-Trading Business Manager

Ken began his insurance career with Endsleigh in 1985 and held several technical underwriting positions with various companies before being appointed to the position of Personal Lines Technical Underwriter at Lombard General Insurance 1991.

Ken spent four years in this role, before becoming EDI Controller in 1995, a position he held until Groupama was formed from the merger of Lombard General and GAN. 

In 2000, Ken was promoted to E-Commerce Manager, responsible for Groupama’s bespoke developments including e-commerce developments.  He currently holds the role of E-Business Trading Manager and is responsible for the Group’s e-commerce strategy. This includes the development of the Group’s extranet facilities Optima Online, participation in the imarket industry portal initiative and all EDI electronic facilities.
