Job Title: Claims Advisor

To provide a first-class level of claims customer service to all members, companies, hospitals and medical specialists, Providers and business partners primarily by telephone but also by correspondence if required.
To respond to all Claims telephone calls within defined service guidelines.
To provide accurate information either verbally or in writing, within the Data Protection Act guidelines, in response to queries raised by members, companies, brokers, hospitals, medical specialists and any other caller to the company, by accurately interpreting data available within the company rules and benefits.
To work along side others in the business to respond to customer needs where you do not directly have the expertise to answer particular queries.
Administer all claims effectively and accurately in accordance with defined procedures.
Liaise with Hospitals and the medical profession ensuring that charges are fair and reasonable
To assist other members of the Claims Team as required with various associated administrative tasks.

Previous experience in a similar role within PMI |
