About this role

To manage claims (including new claims notifications and telephone enquiries) from our Insured and Third Party customers, achieving customer service and productivity standards and embracing agreed best practice and regulatory requirements.

Key accountabilities

To be responsible for: 

  • Managing claims to the highest level of technical competence whilst adhering to Best Practice for all aspects of technical claims handling.
  • Handling telephone enquiries regarding new and existing claims to the highest level of technical competence, operating within personal authority level set, whilst adhering to best practice for all aspects of claims handling.
  • Adhering to the set quality standards and feeding back any issues which may contribute to the development of such standards.
  • Delivering high levels of productivity and customer service, in line with agreed standards, while adhering to stated best practice.
  • Any other ad hoc duties within your capabilities that are relevant to the job and reasonably requested of you by your manager
