Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large.
Environment
Helping to ensure a "greener" planet. Some of our achievements are:
- 175,000 cups re-cycled with more offices starting to use mugs instead of plastic cups
- Fairtrade tea and coffee in all our offices 42,000 kg of paper recycled
- Installation of sensor plumbing in the toilets and washbasins in our office refurbishments
- Installation of sensor lighting in our offices to reduce carbon emissionsair conditioning that automatically switches off
Community
Giving back to the local communities in which we work. Initiatives include:
- "Pennies from Heaven" – a scheme where employees can chose to donate the spare pennies from the end of their monthly salary to charity
- A charitable giving policy
- Mock interviews with local schools and colleges
- Furniture, IT equipment and floor tiles donated to community projects
- Regular charitable dress down daysreading scheme with local school children
