The Prince’s Trust Insurance Cup
Groupama Insurances will be sponsoring this year's Insurance Football Tournament in Regent's Park, organised by the Prince's Trust. Each year the Insurance Leadership Group organises The Prince's Trust Insurance Cup, a 6-a-side football tournament in the beautiful surroundings of Regent’s Park in London. Up to 40 teams from across the Insurance industry and from all corners of the UK get involved.
Format of the competition
The competition is based on 6-a-side football tournament, with teams compromising of a maximum of 10 players. This year they hope to have 40 teams! The top teams will go on to compete in the Cup tournament and the remainder go into the Plate competition. From this point, games become knockouts and will proceed to eventual winners. Games will last about 20 minutes. FA registered referees will oversee the games to FA standard with the only difference being that the players obviously behave much better!
