Lark Insurance Broking Group specialises in offering mid and high net worth household solutions to this market sector.

Currently working with a select panel of UK brokers, Lark provides competitive rates, first class products and generous commission levels. Lark is successful at working primarily with commercial brokers, who have small but highly sensitive books of connected home insurance.

With Lark’s experience of dealing with clients as a retail broker, it offers a very broker friendly service to its other broker partners - and is genuinely interested in building good, long-term relationships.

The Elite scheme

Lark has worked closely with Groupama to develop its new product, Elite, which they can now offer to other brokers. The Elite product is underwritten by Groupama and provides the following policy features for homes with buildings and contents in excess of £250,000 and £50,000 respectively:

  • Worldwide all risks cover on contents
  • No warranties relating to the use of alarms and safes
  • Specialist fine art cover
  • £10m EL and PL
  • £100,000 legal expenses
  • Home emergency cover up to £500 for parts and labour
  • Trace and access cover for water and oil leaks up to the building sum insured
  • Two years alternative accommodation

The minimum premium level is £250 and the policy compares extremely well to other high net worth solutions.

A flexible approach

Lark will accommodate relatively modest levels of  business and offers a flexible and responsive approach to working with new brokers. In terms of claims, Lark works mainly under delegated authority and can therefore provide very quick response times. 97% of claimants describe their service as either excellent or good.

Lark can also accommodate listed properties, non-standard construction properties and risks which require some underwriting attention either due to claims history or security.
