At Groupama we have made a substantial investment in technology as we believe this is essential if we are to improve efficiency and enhance the service we offer. We are fully committed to full cycle EDI and electronic trading and we were a founder member of imarket.
Commercial insurance
We have developed an online trading website, Optima Online, to enable you to obtain quotations and issue cover on several of our commercial packages. Facilities include - instant quotes, issue immediate cover, full point of sale documentation including schedules, certificates and policy wordings.
If you do not have a user id and would like access, please contact the Broker Trading Team on 0161 830 1345 or email brokertradingteam@groupama.co.uk and they will guide you through the simple initial set up process.
We have also developed electronic trading via imarket for software houses. Quotations on our ‘Optima’ range of commercial products (excluding Optima Business) are available electronically or via our Broker Trading Team.
Our Broker Trading Team are experts on Optima Online. They are available to offer technical advice and deal with underwriting queries and referrals on our online products.
For all other commercial products, our underwriters in Manchester can provide a quotation by fax, email or post. If you prefer, they can discuss your enquiries by telephone before you submit a formal quotation request.
Motor and household insurance
Our motor and household products can only be transacted using your software house system. It is our intention to develop full cycle EDI for all products on all software houses.
We only accept manual business if ‘quote only’ exists on your software house system for a particular product, otherwise we require you to use full cycle EDI.
Personal accident insurance
Both our individual and group products are handled manually by our underwriters in our London office. We do not currently publish a rating guide or offer electronic quotes. A quote template for business personal accident is available to download.
You can either fax, email or post a presentation for both personal accident products. Our underwriters can provide a quotation over the phone for individual policies. Alternatively, they can discuss your enquiries by telephone before you submit a formal quotation request.
