Notifying MID of a change of vehicle(s)

This section has been designed to help our Motor Trade policyholders to comply with the requirements of the Motor Insurance Database (MID) and so fulfil their obligations under the terms of the Fourth EU Motor Insurance Directive and the associated UK legislation.

For all Motor Trade products where Groupama Insurances hold full vehicle details, we are required by law to submit all vehicle insurance details to the MID within 14 days of the effective date. 

In order to meet these regulations we require all brokers and Motor Trade policyholders to submit policy information to us ideally within 24 hours, but no later than 5 calendar days after the effective date of any renewal, new business, or policy change.
