Home insurance
Our Home Bedrooms insurance product provides complete peace of mind and value for money by providing up to £50,000 of contents cover and/or up to £500,000 buildings cover as standard. However, if you would prefer you can choose the type and limit of cover that will best suit your requirements with our Groupama Home policy.

Please be aware that conditions apply to the features and benefits below.
For both policies there are two levels of cover that are available:
Standard cover - this level of cover will protect your buildings and contents from loss or damage caused by risks such as fire, flood, theft, subsidence and many more.
Accidental damage cover - provides all the benefits of standard cover and in addition provides you with the peace of mind that if you accidentally damage your home or its contents you are adequately protected.
Buildings insurance
Buildings insurance covers the structure of your home, garage and domestic outbuildings, including fitted kitchens and fitted wardrobes.
- Provision of alternative accommodation if your home becomes uninhabitable as a result of loss or damage covered by the policy.
- Cover for accidental breakage of fixed glass, fitted ceramic hobs and sanitary ware.
- We provide cover up to £5,000 for removing and repairing, replacing or reinstating any part of the buildings when this is necessary to find the source of a water leak.
- Provision of up to £2 million in respect of liabilities you may incur as owner of the property.
Contents insurance
Contents insurance covers your possessions, such as furniture, furnishings and personal belongings whilst in the home, it includes :
- Cover for valuables up to 40% of the sum insured.
- Temporary removal of contents into halls of residence or student accommodation is included up to £5,000.
- Provides up to £1,000 for replacement of door and window locks if your keys are stolen or lost.
- Accidental damage to audio, audio visual and computer equipment is included as standard.
We can provide cover for your personal effects outside your home within the United Kingdom and up to 60 days anywhere in the world. This cover and limits are detailed below.
Extra protection
If you select this additional feature you will be entitled to the following:
- Any one personal effect will be covered up to £1,500.
- Sports equipment is included for £1,500.
- Pedal cycles are included up to £1,500.
- Personal money is included up to £750 and credit cards up to £1,000
